    Rates

    There are many factors that affect the fee quoted to a client. The most common billing method is a "per-page" rate which generally varies between $3.00 and $6.00 per indexable page. The variation in rates is determined by such factors as the type and complexity of the subject matter, index format, and timeline for delivery of the index. The project quotation provided to the client will always contain specifics regarding the determination of the billing rate. A 10 to 15 page sample from the middle chapters of the material is recommended to establish an accurate billing rate.

    Delivery Options

    The preferred delivery method of the material to be indexed is a hard copy. Should you prefer to send the material as a PDF file, a small additional charge may be applied to offset printing costs.

    The completed index can be delivered by e-mail, CD-ROM or floppy disk. Printouts can be provided upon request. Delivery charges for disks and printouts will be added to your invoice.
